of innovation

There are generally four main types of innovations :

  • Product or service innovation that corresponds to Trading on a market of a good or service that is new or significantly improved in terms of its characteristics or intended use.
  • Innovation of a process through the implementation of a new or substantially improved production or distribution method.
  • Organizational innovation which involves adopting a new organization of work to increase the overall performance of a company. It contributes particularly to the improvement of production and distribution methods, efficiency and productivity, administrative and supply costs and employee job satisfaction.
  • Social innovation  that results in a new practical approach or an intervention or new product developed to improve a situation or find a solution to a social problem and having found takers at the level of institutions, organizations and communities.
